Role Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can help REAK increase business by leveraging professional networks, LinkedIn presence, targeted outreach, RFP opportunities, and strategic client conversations. The role is focused on building a predictable pipeline for software development, automation, and technology consulting services.

Job Description

To create and convert business opportunities for REAK by building a strong sales pipeline, using LinkedIn and professional connections effectively, identifying RFP and tender opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to present strong proposals to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use LinkedIn, professional networks, and direct outreach to identify and engage prospective clients.
  • Build relationships with founders, business owners, operations heads, and decision makers who may need software development, automation, or technology consulting support.
  • Track RFPs, tenders, procurement portals, and inbound opportunities relevant to REAK services.
  • Prepare and submit RFP responses, proposals, capability documents, and supporting business material in coordination with the technical team.
  • Qualify leads based on business need, budget, urgency, decision process, and strategic fit.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects, follow-ups, proposal stages, and expected closures.
  • Represent REAK professionally in discovery calls, online meetings, local business conversations, and networking interactions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to estimate scope, prepare solution positioning, and respond to client questions.
  • Identify partnership opportunities, referral channels, and industry segments where REAK can build recurring business.
  • Share regular reports on pipeline status, outreach performance, RFP submissions, and market feedback.

Experience & Education

2-5 years of experience in business development, IT services sales, B2B sales, partnerships, or client acquisition preferred.
Candidates with strong professional networks and proven outreach ability will be preferred.
Experience with LinkedIn prospecting, proposal writing, RFP submissions, or software services sales is a strong advantage.
Graduate in any discipline. MBA or business-related education is helpful but not mandatory.

  • Consistent proposal and RFP submission activity.
  • Improved conversion from first conversation to qualified opportunity.
  • Clear reporting on pipeline value, opportunity stage, next actions, and expected closures.
  • New business opportunities created for REAK software development and automation services.
  • Strong client relationships that can turn into repeat business, referrals, or long-term accounts.

Skills & Expertise

Core Skills:

  • Strong B2B business development and relationship-building ability.
  • Professional LinkedIn presence and confidence in network-led outreach.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for proposals, emails, and client conversations.
  • Ability to understand business problems and position REAK services appropriately.
  • Pipeline management, follow-up discipline, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience submitting RFPs, tenders, proposals, or procurement responses.
  • Understanding of software development, business automation, SaaS, web applications, mobile apps, or IT consulting services.
  • Ability to create basic sales decks, capability notes, proposal drafts, and client-facing documents.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach tools, or similar platforms.

Soft Skills:

  • High ownership and accountability for business growth targets.
  • Strong judgment when qualifying opportunities and prioritizing follow-ups.
  • Confidence to speak with senior stakeholders and business owners.
  • Persistence without being pushy or transactional.
  • Professional attitude, discretion, and long-term relationship orientation.

Additional Notes

  • This role is focused on business growth for REAK, not only product selling.
  • The candidate should be comfortable using LinkedIn and existing professional connections to open business conversations.
  • Strong writing skills are important because proposals, RFP responses, and follow-up communication are part of the role.
  • Candidate should be able to coordinate with technical teams without needing to be deeply technical.
  • Professional discipline, reporting accuracy, and follow-up consistency are mandatory.
